Project Gratitude
Web-Series
Project Gratitude, created by Diviya Lewis is an unscripted roundtable discussion with a diverse range of individuals, in the form of a web-series, exploring themes of modern society, unconscious beliefs, our fears, and this positivity movement, as it relates to our well-being and sense of belonging in our communities.
There are times in our lives that we just cannot seem to get a handle on how to cope with the challenges in our life. Occasionally dictated by genetics, but usually due to life circumstances, and all its challenges, one can get overwhelmed and lose sight of their strengths and resources. During these times, it can be helpful to work with a trained psychotherapist to support you through these challenges.
It is precisely this empathy, compassion, and care that allows Diviya to share an authentic connection, as well as holding the space that you need to heal. Sometimes it takes is a ripple of insight to create lasting change. If you are ready to cast that pebble to create that ripple, connect with me.

Core Beliefs
& Social Media
In this episode, we introduce an exercise to explore some of our deeper rooted ingrained or core beliefs. In the discussion, participants share how words related to race, religion, time and love resonated, and surprised them. We also explored the reactions to social media, and learn from Bailey Parnell, through her research on social media, why it should be seen as a risky behaviour.
03.
Fear of Not Belonging
In this episode, participants were invited to write down a fear, anonymously exchange it with others, and share what it might be like if they had that fear. Many fears overlapped, and participants found a shared humanity in voicing their fears and hearing others experience similar fears. This episode explores the fear of being alone, being excluding, the fear of not belonging. We also learn from Registered Psychotherapist, Scott Pope, about where our fears come from, and the evolutionary impact and need for belonging.
04.
Fear of Being Mediocre, Not Fulfilling a Purpose
This episode continues to explore our fears, specifically a fear of not fulfilling a purpose, or being mediocre. Scott Pope, Registered Psychotherapist, shares a bit about the pressure in today's world, especially with millennials, and participants explore the challenge of asking for help in today's society. We recognize the impact of naming our fears, and the beauty in ambivalence as it moves us towards the life we want to be living.

Today's "Positivity" Movement
This episode explores the shift in today's society, with positive thinking being the new mandate, and trend. We explore some pitfalls, and explore the link between gratitude and positivity. Languages of Appreciation
This episode invites viewers to consider the ways in which they feel appreciated, as well as how others might differ. We typically show our love and thanks in ways that we tend to feel heard, seen, and loved; however, if we start to bring awareness to the languages of the recipient, it forms a bridge to a new level of connection. Attendees share their personal stories, and remind us of 'the platinum rule', not just the golden rule.
07.
The Power of Our Perception & The Magic of the Messy Middle
